It delivers a clean, bold flavour with a sweet after taste. It is strong in aroma and of medium body. The lingering characteristics will refresh your palate and remind you of those long, lazy days of summer. This cup offers you a smooth combination of Central American coffees with a touch of Indonesian coffees for the lift. This specialty roast creates a bright and crisp flavor reminiscent of the warm rays of morning sunlight beckoning you to rise and shine for the day. You'll love the full-bodied flavor, and balanced acidity of this coffee. It brews a fuller and tastier cup of morning java, without bitterness or a heavy aftertaste.

Columbian

This Colombian coffee is rich in flavour and aroma, has a creamy body and is brightly acidic, with a hint of wine. Yet, each coffee-growing region in Colombia imparts its own distinct characteristics. From the north are the deeper, earthier coffee characters of the Bucaramanga and Antioquia regions and from the southern region, which includes Cauca, Nariño, and Huila, come the brighter and fruity tastes.

Brazilian

This coffee has a soft earthy flavour with a light nutty aroma. It is light-bodied and of moderate acidity. Brazilian coffee is hand selected to ensure that every cherry is at its peak for picking. After rigorous screening for quality, it is shipped in its raw state to our Roasters who will then roast it to perfection the very same day we ship it to you in a heat-sealed valve bag. You can't get any fresher than that!

Espresso (House Blend)

This medium-dark roasted coffee is strong, full-bodied with a rich characteristic of an Italian espresso and of moderate acidity. Suitable for all occasions.

ARTISAN RANGE SINGLE ORIGIN COFFEE

We offer a whole list of single-origins and blends in our Artisan Range of coffee beans. These beans are mostly roasted in small batches in our cafe weekly, so they are very fresh and available in limited amount. Customers are encouraged to call or email the cafe to check availability of beans we have freshly roasted.

LATIN AMERICA

Brazil Cerado

Cerado coffee is generally clean with a creamy mouthfeel, has a low acidity and is well-balanced, often exhibiting a nutty and even slightly caramelly flavor when lightly roasted, perhaps even malty, though more chocolaty if given a darker roast.

Columbia Medellin Supremo

Medellin city is the traditional production area of Colombia's finest coffees. Supremo is the highest grade of Colombia coffee based on the bean size. This is a great cup all day long. It is a highly aromatic, smooth-bodied, rich, clean, well-balanced coffee with a lingering sweet walnut finishing note.

Mexico Vera Cruz

A coffee with bright acidity, mild and light-bodied and delicate flavours. If you try hard enough, you might experience a little bit of almond on the tongue.

Guatemala Antigua La Cupula

A powerfully rich coffee with hints of cocoa, toffee and walnut combined with a lusciously full body.

AFRICAN/ARABIA

Ethiopia Sidamo

The place where coffee is born. Depending on the soil condition and environmental change, Sidamo will either surprise you with its fruity and lemony aroma and/or taste or calm you with its overtones of dark cocoa.

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe

Yirgacheffe is grown in a particularly favourable sub-region of Sidamo in Southern Ethiopia. Yirgacheffe is a hand-picked top quality washed coffee. This coffee is fantastically smooth, with light floral and berry notes at the outset, followed by a deep treacle and chocolaty body and finish. This coffee works fantastically well in all brewing equipment, including espresso / cappuccino machines, stovetop brewer, paper / metal filter brewers, and Turkish brewers. What a fantastic coffee beans!

Ethiopia Djimah

Temperamental coffee from south-western Ethiopia. Its rich, sweet taste does not allow you to forget this wonderful coffee for a long time. Using the natural process, as that of historical methodology, the ‘Djimah’ bean presents an intense mild bean with sweet fruit and a wine-like dimension. A lively, dry process experience that strongly represents its origin roots.

ASIA PACIFIC

Sumatra Mandheling

Probably the world’s favourite coffee! Earthy undertones, at times spicy, bold and deeply intriguing.

Aged Sumatra

A very earthy Cedar wood and tobacco notes with rich body, low acidity and smooth as glass. One can never have too much of this coffee. Never, ever bitter or flat tasting.

Indian Monsoon Malabar

This is one of the great coffees of the world, and one of a handful of well-known coffees of India. It has a mellow, rich taste without any bitterness. It is dark and smooth, yet highly “aggressive”. Monsoon Malabar is a coffee to be loved and adored, or detested, but at the very least it should be tasted and have its fascinating history known.
